Regular Cleaning
Persistence is the key! After each use, rinse your tub with warm water and wipe off any excess moisture with a cloth or sponge.
Deep Cleaning
For a deeper clean, use white vinegar. Fill a spray bottle with half vinegar and half water. Then, proceed to spray the tub’s surface and let it stand for 15 minutes before wiping it down with a cloth or sponge. After that, rinse the tub with clean water and give it another wipe down.
Hard Water Stains
If your tub has hard water stains dip paper towel in undiluted white vinegar and put the soaked paper towel on the stain. After letting the towel sit for one to two hours, scrub the spot with baking soda and vinegar paste before rinsing it clean.
Mild Stains
If your tub is lined with heavier dirt or mild stains, sprinkle the tub with baking soda and then spray on the vinegar-water solution. Let the mixture bubble for a few minutes before scrubbing the tub with a cloth or sponge to form a paste. Allow the paste to sit for 15 minutes or so before wiping and rinsing it off.
Heavy Stains
To remove extremely tough stains, make a paste of one part hydrogen peroxide and two parts baking soda. Rub the paste you’ve created on the stain and let it stand for 30 minutes to an hour before wiping and rinsing. If the stain is still visible, repeat this process until the stain is gone.
Rust Stains
Rust stains can be treated with a mixture of borax powder and lemon juice. Sprinkle the rust stains with borax and then use a half of a lemon to rub the stain until a paste forms. Let the paste stand for 15 to 30 minutes and then wipe and rinse it clean.

A Few Additional Tips
-Avoid using steel wool or any other extremely abrasive brushes, as these will scratch your tub’s surface
-Never mix cleaning products! Unless you have a deep understanding of chemistry you could be creating a toxic mix of chemicals without even knowing it. Certain combinations of cleaning products can create toxic fumes or burn your skin.
-Make sure to thoroughly wipe and rinse away all of the cleaning product used to ensure that it doesn’t leave any residue.
-Hydrogen peroxide and bleach will discolor clothes, so be sure to wear old clothes that you’re not afraid of ruining.
